About

Improving Our Patients' Quality Of Life

Our therapists are certified, experienced, and compassionate. We can alleviate your pain, increase your flexibility, and get you back to doing the things you love to do. We can help you improve your life. We do it every day.

How We Do It

Our physical therapy staff takes a holistic approach to getting you better. We have a large variety of techniques at our disposal for the evaluation and treatment of your problem. We work closely with your referring physician and keep them up to date on your progress. We focus on realistic, measurable goals that you will establish with your Physical Therapist.

Our West Virginia state- licensed physical therapists will work with you one-on-one. We focus on alleviating the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction and take a hands on approach to care. We believe that manual therapy and patient education are necessary to ensure your recovery. The more you know about your own condition, the more you can participate in your own recovery. We strongly believe healing requires a patient’s active participation.

Our Facilities

Patients are treated in one of our three private treatment rooms or our larger exercise room with curtain privacy. Our rooms are designed for ease of mobility and the comfort of our patients. We have adjustable lighting, so we can turn down the lights and focus on breathing when relaxation is our goal. This helps decrease stress levels that can add to a patient’s pain.

We are fully equipped with tools of the trade: bolsters, wedges, rocker boards, foam rolls, tape, exercise bands, Swiss balls, electrical stimulation machines, and ultrasound. We believe that the best tools we have are our hands, but these supplemental tools come in handy, too!

Because we are affiliated with Active Fitness Center, we are able to offer our patients access to a 10,000 square foot full service gym with Cybex equipment, free weights, and yoga classes. Patients exercise under the supervision of their treating Physical Therapist. We pay special attention to proper technique to facilitate recovery from injury and strengthening.
